INTRODUCING: CAPTAIN FIN July 08 2016
Service is proud to introduce California-based Captain Fin, a surfboard fin manufacturing brand humbly started in lifelong surfer's Mitch Abshere's garage in 2006. They are known for being one of the first companies to put artwork on high-performance surfboard fins and very quickly gained a good reputation in the surf industry.
Abshere opened a retail shop in 2009 that sold vintage clothing as well as their own fins and quickly branched out to making apparel inspired by vintage beachwear and always featuring Captain Fin's trademark anchor image. Their company slogan is simply "Back to the Beach."
Captain Fin is now a global fan favorite and even sponsors a surf team including surfers Alex Knost and Dane Reynolds amongst others.

GARY MARTIN SIGNS June 02 2012
Service has a new sandwich board on the avenue and we are excited about it! It features many of our brands and is beautifully hand painted. We'd like to thank Gary Martin of Martin Signs for his great work and tell you a little about this unique local business, Martin Signs.
Gary Martin has been creating great looking hand painted signs in Austin for over 25 years. Gary has neon, goldleaf, cutouts, and tattoo shop signs all over the city (He said his favorite signs are tattoo cutouts and it's easy to see why, they are real works of art!)
Here's Gary with the Service sign and a few more of his iconic signs around town:
