TAFT'S NAKED & FAMOUS DENIM NEP SELVEDGE January 21 2015
Check out Taft in his Naked & Famous Denim Skinny Guy's. We'd say these are the epitome of perfectly worn in jeans. When he's not working at Service Menswear, Taft plays music and paints, which has helped to add a lot of personality to the fade. Taft is signed to Austin's very own Punctum Records and his brand new album "Groove Redundant" comes out on February 12th.
Naked & Famous has deemed this pair of Nep Selvedge "exceptional" and we certainly agree. We're also really into the way Taft has styled his look, with extra beat up Chuck's and a slightly shrunken oxford.
Service stocks 4 fits of Naked & Famous Denim in over 20 finishes. Head to their brand page in our online shop here or stop into the store to get fitted.

HISTOIRES DE PARFUM June 14 2013
Histoires de Parfum offers an olfactory library, one which expresses stories in scent about famous personalities, opulent raw materials and iconic years. The creator of Histoires, Gerald Ghislain, first began refining his palette and nose through gastronomy, learning the art of combining and distilling savors. The art of perfumery had been a long time dream of his when he finally founded the company in 2000. He has since created an extensive line of rare and unique scents that are rich in temperament and extremely romantic. We're currently stocking seven scents that range from unisex to masculine.
The Service Staff has picked the three favorites from the first volume of this collection that were inspired by famous personalities who strongly influenced their generation. The name given to the perfume is that of their date of birth.
MEET THE SERVICE FAMILY - MATTHEW December 13 2012
Matthew, who's been at Service for a year and a half, moved to Austin from FLA when we was only one year old! When he's not working, Matthew plays soccer (It's been said he has a great soccer ass), and designs men's bags. He's been named the store's songbird; his specialties being Kate Bush and Mariah Carey.
Where else do you shop besides Service? What? I don't have anything left over after all my purchases at Service!
Are you feeling Christmas-y? No, the weather has been too hot. The cold the last few days has helped though.
What are your favorite holiday movies? Home Alone, the Rudolph one, and Misery.
Where's your favorite place in Austin to hang out? Most days you can find me playing cribbage at Centennial Park with my friend Vance Bondurant III. (Matthew is also the store's resident comedian!).
Matthew is wearing:
Penguin, window plaid blazer
Gitman Vintage, long sleeve over-dye dobby
Hartford, green corduroy pants
Florsheim, wingtip boot
Nixon, mellor cream watch
MEET THE SERVICE FAMILY - CHRISTIAN November 27 2012
Christian was first a loyal Service customer, and then to supplement his wardrobe with employee discounts, picked up part-time work at the store. His passion is also the kitchen. He has worked at Uchi for many years, and makes some mean, wickedly delicious "albondigas." That's Mexican meatballs, for the anglophiles out there. Christian has been a fantastic Service employee, but his other interests and ventures are acting and some part-time modeling.
How long have you worked for Service? On and off again for about 7 years.
What are you up to now? Working the sushi line at a little restaurant on south lamar.
What is your favorite item you've ever purchased from Service? This is a great question because I have invested a lot of my time into their clothes! The winner would have to be my 511 levi's. Four years of hard work and still going.
What's the cheesiest pick up line you've ever used? Did it work?! How 'bout I give you one that was used on me, "I'm a millionaire cougar and I've kinda been stalking you." there's a lot more to it, but that's the point. didn't really work.
Christian is wearing:
Gant, long sleeve striped henley
Penguin, wool blend blazer
Ben Sherman, slim stretch chino
Vans, guitar strap chukka decon
All available at Service Menswear.
